Fantastic 4-H'er:

emblem Amber Perryman

This week’s Fantastic 4-Her is 14 year old Amber Perryman from Bacon County.  Amber is an 8th grade Junior 4-Her at Bacon County Middle School.  Her main 4-H project is Environmental Science.  Her favorite 4-H highlight thus far has been winning the Environmental Science Project her first year at Project Achievement.  She states that “I felt like all of my hard work had paid off.”  She also says that “4-H has helped me think more clearly about things.  It has made making the right decisions easier.   4-H has shown me how great it feels to help others, and how a kind word can brighten someone's day. It has provided me with ways to assist my community.  I enjoy helping others, and 4-H has made it possible.” Amber wishes others knew how fun 4-H is.  “A lot of people that it's just about agriculture, but it's really fun too.”  Her future plans are to attend Florida State University for six years to obtain a degree in Marine biology.  Congratulations to this week’s Fantastic 4-Her, Amber Perryman!
