2 Georgia Representatives Attend Americanism Youth Conference

Two Georgia youth were selected as Operation: Military Kids representatives to the 2009 Americanism Youth Conference.  Joel Borges from Rome and Stacey Sharpe from Augusta were selected after completing an application and essay. 

The Americanism Youth Conference is sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary and was held in Valley Forge, PA March 3-6, 2009.  Joel's father serves in the Georgia National Guard and Stacey's father serves as an Army Reservist.  Both represent the best of Georgia's military youth and served Georgia Operation: Military Kids well.
