      <title>Georgia Delegation at National 4-H Congress</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;This year's Georgia 4-H project winners joined the nation as catalysts for change during National 4-H Congress. Forty-three youth and adults from across the state participated in training sessions, community service, networking opportunities and excursions across Atlanta. During the conference, Bartow County 4-H'er, Will Murphy served on the Leadership team; Ben Hill County 4-H'er, Tifara Brown was the featured entertainer for dinner and Michael Woods of Hancock County was the soloist for the annual Gala.&amp;nbsp; Georgia 4-H contributed over $500 towards the third Habitat for Humanity House in Atlanta and donated more than 150 hours of community service across the city.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;2012-2013 Georgia 4-H Board of Directors began their term in office on August 1st.&amp;nbsp; The nine high school age youth represent Georgia 4-H and were elected by their peers during the annual meeting of the Georgia 4-H Council in June. Having completed an intense training week, the officers were installed at the 70th Annual Georgia 4-H Congress and are already on track with a busy year.&amp;nbsp; Plans include a statewide Cans for Hunger drive, support for the Junior 4-H Poptab project, planning 4-H Fall Forum and State 4-H Council and several other activities.&amp;nbsp; Congratulations to President Tifara Brown (Ben Hill County), Vice President Alec Joiner (Crisp County), State Representatives Gracie Rowe (Heard County), Candie Childs (Chatham County), Zack Smagur (Habersham County), Northeast District Representative Bailey Dickinson (Stephens County), Northwest Representative Aubrey Fowler (Spalding County), Southeast District Representative Kirsten Morris (Chatham County), &amp;amp; Southwest District Representative Ashton Black (Crisp County).
