Leadership Day is a time when leaders from all across Georgia come together to share best practices and success stories and identify ways to improve leadership efforts in Georgia . Combined with 4-H Day at the Capitol, it provides 4-H'ers an opportunity to learn about all the leadership opportunities offered in their communities, listen to great speakers, tour the state capitol and meet with their representatives.

The 7th Annual Leadership Day in Georgia , sponsored by the Georgia Rural Development Council (GRDC) will be held at the Georgia Freight Depot In Atlanta  ( Map ). Please follow the link for directions and a map.

The Depot is adjacent to Underground Atlanta and groups can park in nearby parking decks.

County 4-H Leaders should register using the 4-H Event Registration Site.

4-H groups can register until midnight of February 3rd .

The first 300 registered are guaranteed lunch.

A registration fee of $2.00 per attendee can be paid upon arrival, or sent to Charlene Carpenter at the State 4-H Office in advance. Please make all checks payable to the Georgia 4-H Foundation.

It is imperative that we fill entire tables before partially filling others. Even if it means county groups split up.

Pages must first be registered by counties with their local representatives. Once they are approved, counties should note which 4-H'ers are pages for the day online and when they check in at the depot. There is a limit to the number of pages that can be accommodated.
