Georgia youth and adults have the opportunity to make a difference for their clubs, their communities, their country and their world through the National 4-H Conversations.  This will be the first time any organization has developed a series of   recommendations starting at the ground floor—where everyone lives—and is working its way up to one national report. The Georgia Youth Summit and the proceeding survey provided the opportunity for citizens in every county in Georgia to share their ideas and opinions.  The lessons learned and the recommendations made became the basis for our state conversation, Fall Forum 2001.   These ideas will head north to the capital with our delegation for the National 4-H Conversations.

On February 28—March 3, over 1,600 individuals from every state, territory, and the District of Columbia will convene in Washington, D.C. for the National Conversation. They will bring the recommendations from their Local and State  Conversations into one national report to be presented to President Bush and the  Congress. Then, the recommendations will impact  programs and policy in ways that bring the final results right back  home, where they started.
