For the Georgia 4-H Foundation...

The Georgia 4-H Foundation relies heavily on the efforts of volunteers to help coordinate and organize yearly alumni & friends events. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer or in a leadership role for the 2009 Alumni & Friends event or for the 2010 Georgia 4-H Legacy Ball, please contact Emily Schattler at 706-542-3262 or emilybs@uga.edu.

In 1904, when Mr. G.C. Adams began the corn club in Newton County, he joined the long list of volunteers who have made a difference in the community.  Mr. Adams saw an opportunity to improve his students and sought resources to make it happen.  Today’s volunteers are much like Mr. Adams. Volunteers support, assist, develop, acquire, chaperone and deliver for Georgia 4-H.
